2 John 1:1-13

1 ¶ The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; elder^G4245 elect^G1588 lady^G2959 and^G2532 her^G846 children^G5043 whom^G3739 I^G1473 love^G25 in^G1722 truth^G225 and^G2532 not^G3756 I^G1473 only^G3441 but^G235 also^G2532 all^G3956 known^G1097 truth^G225

3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 5 ¶ And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. 7 ¶ For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Look^G991 yourselves^G1438 that^G3363 lose^G622 not^G3363 which^G3739 wrought^G2038 but^G235 receive^G618 full^G4134 reward^G3408

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 ¶ If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: If^G1536 come^G2064 any^G1536 any^G5100 unto^G4314 you^G5209 and^G2532 bring^G5342 not^G3756 this^G5026 doctrine^G1322 receive^G2983 him^G846 not^G3361 into^G1519 house^G3614 neither^G2532 neither^G3361 bid^G3004 him^G846 speed^G5463

12 ¶ Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
