Bible Verses About Shame
Shame says you are what you did, and it keeps the eyes on the ground. The gospel says otherwise: they looked unto him, and were lightened, and their faces were not ashamed. God does not merely forgive His people; He restores their honor. These passages speak to the one who fears the past has the last word.
Psalms 34:5
