Faith is the settled confidence that God is who He says He is and will do what He has promised. Scripture calls it the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It is not a feeling we work up but a trust we rest in, fed by the Word of God and proven in the daily walk. These passages show where faith comes from and how it lives.

Hebrews 11:1–6

Ephesians 2:8–9
