Come unto me, Jesus said, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The promise stands for tired bodies and tired souls alike. From the seventh day of creation onward, rest has been God's gift rather than man's achievement. If you are worn thin, these verses are an invitation, not another task.

31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. renew: Heb. change

15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
