Come unto me, Jesus said, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The promise stands for tired bodies and tired souls alike. From the seventh day of creation onward, rest has been God's gift rather than man's achievement. If you are worn thin, these verses are an invitation, not another task.

Matthew 11:28–30
